The research behind Local Gold Treatment

The research in the release of gold ions from solid gold pieces implanted in tissues and their anti-inflammatory effect is centred at the universities of Aarhus and Aalborg and the Technical University of Copenhagen in Denmark.

The Goldtreat clinics also participate in research activities on a long-term basis.

The key person behind this research, and also behind the development of the Berlock Implants is Professor Emeritus Gorm Danscher at Aarhus University.
